REFURBISHMENT OF
THE GIRLS’ DORMITORY AND DINING HALL
It has been a joyous season here at Neema as we
celebrate the successful completion of this great
project. It has been quite a journey getting to this
place and we feel blessed to see the fine-looking
structure. The girls could not hide their joy when
they moved in to their now sparkling and cozy
residence. We give all the glory to God.
We have, at present, two acres of the farm under maize which will be ready for harvesting in September. This will provide food for the children as well as feed for the cows. We have recently had a good harvest of potatoes and are also growing vegetables and green peas for consumption at home. We thank God for the favorable weather that has made this possible.

WEATHER THAT HAS MADE
THIS POSSIBLE
We had eight of our children successfully transition
from Grade 6 to Junior Secondary School.
They performed very well in the national examination,
with six of them exceeding expectations.
Another seven that completed secondary school
last year are due to join college. One of them was
successfully re-integrated into his family, while
another two have found supporters to take care
of their college education and have since left the
home. The other four are still with us helping in
different departments at the home as they wait
to proceed to college later in the year. After successful
career guidance, they have been able to choose the courses they would like to pursue as follows:
Name Course
Grace Nyambura Certificate in Information
Technology
Sammy Kamau Certificate in Mechanical
Engineering
Timothy Mutahi Diploma in Electrical and
electronics Engineering
Viginiah Naipai Fashion and design
They need financial support and/or information on sponsorship that may assist in getting them through college. Any assistance will be much appreciated.
